The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Functions and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Functions Coordinator, the successful candidate will be integral in ensuring the seamless planning and execution of events at Club Forster.

Key Responsibilities

●        Client Consultations and Communications: Conduct initial client consultations, prepare quotes, and maintain open lines of communication prior to booking events.

●        Event Planning: Liaise with clients to finalise event details, manage attendee lists, and coordinate catering and other specific requirements.

●        Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with various departments, including catering, marketing, and entertainment, to ensure all aspects of the event are well-coordinated.

●        Event Execution: Provide exceptional customer service during events and manage the event staff to ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the event.

About You

●        Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable experiences.

●        Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

●        Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients and team members.

●        Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments to achieve common goals.

●        Event Management Experience: Previous employment in event coordination or a related field is highly desirable.

●        Computer Skills: Basic Excell, Word skills.
